The free-agent free-for-all in New York continues.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Jets have agreed to terms with defensive end/linebacker Calvin Pace on a six-year, $42 million deal, with a whopping $22 million in guaranteed money.
Pace will earn $26 million over the first three years.
On Saturday night, Bucky Brooks of SI.com reported that Pace had agreed to terms with the Dolphins. Brooks hopefully will be getting a piece of the extra money that this report helped squeeze out of the Fins’ AFC East rivals.
Pace was a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2003. The Cardinals made no apparent effort to keep him.
