Two weeks ago, Bengals receiver Chad Johnson unzipped his lip on Sirius NFL Radio, suggesting to Adam Schein and Ross Tucker that it might be time for the team to move him.

The campaign continued on Friday, when Johnson pulled the same routine on ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning.

I was labeled selfish and a cancer, and it hurt,” he said.  “Fingers were pointed at me this year. If the team and the organization wants to further itself, I think you need to get rid of the problem.

“It hurt me.  To do me that way and not to have my back.  Things were said, and nobody came to my defense.”

There’s no denying that Johnson is a supreme talent.  But the beginning of the end came two years ago, when a halftime tantrum during a playoff game against the Steelers disrupted the team’s efforts to get ready for the final 30 minutes of a game that they were leading.

Anyone who might be interested in Johnson would have to be willing to take the risk that he’ll piss and moan if he doesn’t get the ball as much as he thinks he should.
